While there are countless lists every year giving you top tips for the Edinburgh Festivals, who better to recommend what you should be doing than those who are literally there year after year. In our new feature, we get big names to tell us what they're planning to see, where they want to eat and what to do of an evening. Here, comedy and stage star Marcus Brigstocke gives us his suggestions.

Don't miss these:

I think people should go and see Paul FoxcroftHuge If True. He's a funny funny man. I'm also excited to see William Andrews who's brilliant.

Best spot for a bite to eat:

Eat at Bar Napoli on Hanover St. Excellent Italian food with a great atmosphere and usually loads of comedians and actors sharing stories at the table next to yours.

Great call for a night out:

A great evening… hmm… it's the Fringe so I'm duty bound to say go and see a show. Or two shows. There's tons of great improv groups doing amazing stuff.

Cheeky plug for your show:

Devil May Care is about good and evil – I'm basically doing "The Devil does Stand Up". It's a lot of fun to be Lucifer and ask how morality has changed. The premise is the Dark Lord himself advising humans how best to navigate 2018.
