Mamma Mia! the Party extends run

Mamma Mia! The Party has extended booking for its London production at the O2.

The immersive dining and theatrical experience, created by Björn Ulvaeus, features an original meta-tale told within the replica of a Greek taverna. It features every ABBA hit you could ask for.

According to the production, more than 800,000 guests have attended the London staging since it opened in August 2019, with audiences from 110 countries and nearly 2,000 performances presented at the venue. More than 120,000 new tickets have now been released for performances through to 28 November 2027.

The current cast includes Sam Bailey as Debbie until April 2027, alongside Kelly Aaron as Sue/Swing, Constantine Andronikou as Robin/Swing, Oscar Balmaseda as Nikos, Marianne Benedict and Kimberly Powell sharing the role of Kate at certain performances, AJ Bentley as Adam, Claudia Bradley as Tia/Swing, Inês Fernandez as Konstantina, Tom Fothergill as Carlos/Swing, Elena Gibson and Allie Ho Chee sharing the role of Bella at certain performances, Deschenes Graham as Joyce/Swing, Sophie Holdsworth as Loretta/Swing, Gabriella-Rose Merchant as Nina (Maternity Cover), James Mark McLoughlin as Ruben/Swing, Andy Rose as Host/Fernando, Dawn Spence as Grandma and Rebecca Stenhouse as Nina at certain performances.

The production features music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Ulvaeus, with some songs by Stig Anderson, and a story by Calle Norlén, Roine Söderlundh and Ulvaeus. The English book is by Sandi Toksvig.

The London production is co-directed and choreographed by Stacey Haynes and Roine Söderlundh, with set design by Bengt Fröderberg, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, sound design by Gareth Owen, costume design by Annsofi Nyberg, music supervision by Robin Svensson and casting by David Grindrod for Grindrod Burton Casting. The production is executive produced by Ulvaeus and Pophouse.
