Malcolm Sinclair and Chris Peluso join the West End cast of Show Boat

The Sheffield Crucible production transfers to the New London Theatre next month

Casting has been announced for the West End transfer of Show Boat, opening at the New London Theatre next month.

Malcolm Sinclair (Temple, Donmar) will play Capt. Andy Hawks, with Chris Peluso (Miss Saigon, West End) replacing Michael Xavier as Gaylord Ravenal.

They join original Sheffield Crucible cast members Gina Beck (Magnolia Hawks), Lucy Briers (Parthy Ann Hawks), Rebecca Trehearn (Julia La Verne), Emmanuel Kojo (Joe), Sandra Marvin (Queenie), Alex Young (Ellie May Chipley) and Danny Collins (Frank Schultz).

Further casting includes John Coates, Adam Dutton, Kit Esuruoso, Nolan Frederick, Linford Johnson, Javar La’Trail Parker, Kate Milner-Evans, Maria Omakinwa, Ryan Pidgen, Mykal Rand, Leo Roberts, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Christina Bennington, Victoria Hinde, Linda John-Pierre, Simbi Akande, Georgie Ashford, Laura Darton, Joshua Da Costa, Dale Evans and Tom Partridge.

Daniel Evans‘ production of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's Show Boat has designs by Lez Brotherston with choreography by Alistair David, musical supervision and direction by David White, lighting by David Hersey, sound by Paul Groothuis and video design by Tim Reid.
