Actress Lyn Paul is to return to Blood Brothers as it tours the UK 30 years after Bill Kenwright's production first opened.

Paul will return to the role of Mrs Johnstone which she first played in 1997, as well as when the musical closed in the West End at the Phoenix Theatre in 2012.

She is known for her appearence on 1972 Eurovision Song Contest entry "Beg, Steal or Borrow", and 1974 number one "You Won’t Find Another Fool Like Me".

Willy Russell's musical is about Mickey and Eddie, twins separated at birth, and was first developed as a school play in Liverpool, where the story is set. It went on to run for 24 years in the West End, exceeding 10,000 performances.

The cast for the tour also includes Sarah Jane Buckley, Dean Chisnall, Mark Hutchinson, Sean Jones, Adam Search, Danielle Corlass, Tim Churchill, Graham Martin, Laura Harrison, Alison Crawford, Graeme Kinniburgh, Henry Regan and Josh Capper.

Blood Brothers will tour to Woking, Sheffield, Southport, Swindon, Windsor, Coventry, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Dublin and Bristol.

Blood Brothers runs at Woking from 17 January before continuing a UK tour.
