LW Theatres has confirmed the launch of LW Tickets, a new ticketing services company that will manage ticketing operations for its portfolio of six London venues, which includes The London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and extend its services to producers and partners across the live entertainment sector.
The new company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of LW Theatres and will deliver full-service ticketing and box office solutions ranging from strategic planning and technical set-up to online checkout, customer support and data analytics. It is created in partnership with Line-Up, a ticketing commerce platform already used by a range of entertainment clients in the UK and the US.
Martin Crosier has been named Managing Director of LW Tickets. Crosier brings more than 25 years of experience in the ticketing industry and has led significant investment in LW Theatres’ ticketing and data infrastructure over the past seven years. Continues below.
LW Theatres, owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, operates some of the best-known theatres in the West End, including His Majesty’s Theatre, home to The Phantom of the Opera, the Cambridge Theatre, the Gillian Lynne Theatre and the Adelphi Theatre, which it co-owns with Nederlander International Limited.
All profits are reinvested into the ongoing conservation and development of its buildings, with more than £100 million put back into the business since 2006.
