Familiar territory for the performance icon!

Lulu will return to the story that launched her career as she stars in To Sir, With Love – A New Musical for two concert performances at the Gillian Lynne Theatre on Monday 24 November 2025.
Producers Kris Lythgoe and Darren Bell present this newly reimagined stage adaptation of E R Braithwaite’s memoir, featuring music and lyrics by John Farrar and Kara DioGuardi, and directed by Sheldon Epps.
The production revisits the tale of Rick Braithwaite, a Cambridge-educated engineer and former RAF fighter pilot who challenges prejudice and inspires his students to face the world as adults. It was adapted into a much-loved film starring Sidney Poitier, and Lulu, in 1967.
The concert will include a new score alongside the title song by Mark London and Don Black. Kenny Seymour is music director with musical arrangements by Eve Nelson, supervision and orchestration by Joseph Joubert, dramaturgy by Shereen Jasmin Phillips and choreography by Edgar Godineaux. Casting is by Debbie O’Brien.
The musical has been developed through the Ogunquit Playhouse New Works Program. Co-producers Willette and Manny Klausner join the team, with further casting and creative details to be announced.
