Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker will lead the return of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Glenn Slater, Ben Elton, and Frederick Forsyth’s Love Never Dies in Concert at The London Palladium this autumn.

The production, directed by Shaun Kerrison, will run for two performances on 16 and 17 October 2026. It is produced by Darren Bell alongside Cuffe & Taylor for Live Nation, and follows its previous WhatsonStage Award-winning concert staging at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Muscato will play the Phantom, while Schoenmaker reprises the role of Christine. The casting was first revealed during Muscato’s solo concert this evening – also coinciding with Lloyd Webber’s birthday.

The piece is the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera and is set a decade after the Phantom’s disappearance from Paris. Now living in New York, he lures Christine, her husband and their son Gustave to America in an attempt to win her back, as past events resurface.

The concert forms part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for The Phantom of the Opera, which continues to run in the West End at His Majesty’s Theatre. More plans will be revealed in due course. Since opening in 1986, the musical has been seen by more than 160 million people worldwide.

Tickets go on sale from 27 March.
