The production runs at in Newcastle, Northampton and Manchester
Kim Criswell and Daragh O'Malley will join Mariah Gale and Charles Aitken in a new production of Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
The production opens at Northern Stage in Newcastle on 18 September (previews from 12 September), before transferring to Northampton's Royal & Derngate, and then the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester.
It's directed by Royal & Derngate’s artistic director James Dacre, with original music by the band White Lies.
Kim Criswell (Candide, La Scala, Sound of Music, Le Chatalet) will play Big Mama, with Daragh O’Malley (The Long Good Friday, Withnail and I) as Big Daddy.
Already announced in the role of Maggie the Cat is Mariah Gale (Three Sisters, Young Vic, Romeo and Juliet, RSC), with Charles Aitken (Sweet Bird of Youth, Old Vic) playing her husband Brick.
The cast is completed by Victoria Elliott as Mae, Matthew Douglas as Gooper, Kieron Jecchinis as Doctor Baugh and Sean Murray as Reverend Tooker.
