Kerry Ellis, Howard Goodall and Patricia Routledge are Singular Sensations at Charing Cross

Critic and broadcast Edward Seckerson is to host a series of ‘in-depth encounters’ with stars of musical theatre at London’s Charing Cross Theatre from next month.

The season will offer a mix of chat, recordings and live performance with figures including Wicked star Kerry Ellis, composer Howard Goodall, and actress Patricia Routledge.

Singular Sensations is billed as a “Sunday afternoon fixture for musical theatre enthusiasts.”

Seckerson, formerly presenter of BBC Radio 3’s Stage and Screen and a regular podcaster for WhatsOnStage, will be “tracing these talented artists’ careers and uncovering insights into their working process”.

The dates are:

6 Oct – Howard Goodall
10 Nov – Janie Dee
8 Dec – John Wilson
19 Jan – Patricia Routledge
26 Jan – Jenna Russell
