The cast joined celebrities last night for the opening of Big Fish the Musical at The Other Palace.

Kelsey Grammer plays Edward in the show and was reunited with Frasier co-star Edward Hibbert at the end of the night.

Stars including Jenna Russell, Katie Brayben, Patricia Hodge and Samantha Womack attended the opening night, which marked Grammer's London stage debut.

Big Fish is John August and Andrew Lippa's piece about Edward Bloom, a man nearing the end of his life, who recounts tales of his life's adventures to his son. The piece is directed by Nigel Harman and also stars Matt Seadon-Young, Frances McNamee, Forbes Masson, Claire Burt, Jamie Muscato and more.

In her review of the show, Sarah Crompton said Grammer can "sing, dance a bit and hold a stage as effortlessly as he once held a screen".

Big Fish the Musical will play at The Other Palace until 31 December.
