Juliet Stevenson will reprise her recent role in Happy Days when the production returns to the Young Vic next year.

Natalie Abrahami's production will run in the main house from 19 February to 21 March 2015 (previews from 13 February).

Samuel Beckett's play famously features a middle-aged woman, Winnie, buried up to her waist in a great mound of earth.

Juliet Stevenson plays Winnie, alongside David Beames as Willie.

In his four star review, WhatsOnStage's Michael Coveney called the production a "striking reinterpretation" in which Stevenson "wins through triumphantly".

Also at the Youg Vic, public booking opens today (25 March) for Benedict Andrews' new production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, starring Gillian Anderson as Blanche DuBois. The production runs from 28 July to 6 September 2014 (previews from 23 July).
