Jamie Parker has thanked fans for "championing Harry Potter" and keeping the spirit of the story alive.

He was speaking after picking up the award for Best Actor in a Play at the 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards.

Parker plays the title character in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre.
