In pictures: Rachel Riley, Antony Costa and Jason Manford celebrate Beautiful's birthday

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical celebrated its second birthday in the West End last night.

Celebrities including Jason Manford, Terry Jones, Rachel Riley, Antony Costa and Ainsley Harriott saw the musical last night and celebrated backstage with the cast.

The Olivier Award-winning musical opened in the West End in February 2015 and on Broadway in October 2015.

Cassidy Janson currently stars in the title role, while Lorna Want plays Cynthia Weil, Ian McIntosh as Barry Mann and Joseph Prouse as Donnie Kirshner.

The piece – which features his songs such as "(You Make Me Feel Like) a Natural Woman", "Take Good Care of My Baby", and "Will you Love Me Tomorrow" – is a biopic of the life of legendary pop star King.

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical is currently running at the Aldwych Theatre until 22 July.
