Joe Hill-Gibbins will also return to the venue to direct ”A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Comedian Harry Enfield will make his theatre debut in Richard Jones' production of Once in a Lifetime at the Young Vic in November.
Enfield will play a Hollywood studio boss in Christopher Hart's adaptation of Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's comedy, which runs from 25 November to 14 January 2017.
The cast will also include Daniel Abelson, Claudie Blakley, Okorie Chukwu, Lucy Cohu, Lizzy Connolly, Buffy Davis, Otto Farrant, Amy Griffiths, Amanda Lawrence and John Marquez. Further casting is still to be announced.
This will be followed by a dark production of A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins, from 17 February to 1 April. Hill-Gibbins returns following his acclaimed production of Measure for Measure at the venue in 2015.
On the Maria stage, Mimi Poskitt will direct See Me Now featuring a company of current and former sex workers, from 11 February to 4 March.
Casting has also been announced for Bryony Shanahan's production of debbie tucker green’s trade, which runs from 16 to 26 November. Ayesha Antoine will play The Novice, Sharon Duncan-Brewster will play The Local and Jo Martin will play The Regular.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday 28 September at 10am.
Once in a Lifetime runs at the Young Vic from 25 November to 14 January 2017. A Midsummer Night's Dream runs from 17 February to 4 March.
