
Hadestown will welcome a new cast at the Lyric Theatre in the West End from 10 March 2026 as the production enters its third year in the West End.
Rachel Adedeji will join the company as Persephone, with Bethany Antonia cast as Eurydice and Marley Fenton as Orpheus. Alastair Parker will take on the role of Hades, while Clive Rowe joins the production as Hermes.
Spike Maxwell will join Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae as the Fates. Gabriela Benedetti joins Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham and Sebastian Lim-Seet as Workers, with Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda, Jasmine Triadi and Milly Willows as swings.
The musical has also extended its booking period and is now on sale through to Sunday 13 December 2026.
Hadestown features music, lyrics and book by Anaïs Mitchell, with direction by Rachel Chavkin. The award-winning musical retells the myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and of Hades and Persephone.
The creative team includes choreographer David Neumann, scenic designer Rachel Hauck, costume designer Michael Krass, lighting designer Bradley King, sound designers Nevin Steinberg and Jessica Paz, music supervisor and vocal arranger Liam Robinson, arrangers and orchestrators Michael Chorney and Todd Sickafoose, dramaturg Ken Cerniglia, UK associate director Maria Crocker, co-musical directors and associate music supervisors Tarek Merchant and George Francis, with casting by Jacob Sparrow and principal casting by Rob Kelly.
The London production is produced by Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, Tom Kirdahy and the National Theatre in association with JAS Theatricals.
Tickets are currently on sale, with performances from September to December 2026 available from 12pm on Monday 26 January 2026 (today).
