The comedic play with songs runs in north London
Awkward Productions has announced additional dates for the play Gwyneth Goes Skiing at London’s Pleasance Theatre due to high demand.
The production, which tells the story of a collision on the slopes involving Gwyneth Paltrow in 2016 and the subsequent court case seven years later, features Linus Karp as Paltrow and Joseph Martin as Terry Sanderson.
Following a sold-out developmental spell at the venue in December 2023, the show will return for a new run from Tuesday 30 January to Friday 16 February 2024.
The play incorporates both fictional elements and verbatim lines from court transcripts. Original music for the production is provided by Leland.
Awkward Productions commented: “Light the orgasm candle and slide our doors! We’re so gooped and gagged to be skiing into an extended run of Gwyneth Goes Skiing in 2024. The response to our silly, queer and goopy show has made us so happy and feel so warm inside – and not just because we’ve steamed our vaginas! Thank you to everyone who has supported our show, we Shakespeare In Love you, and we wish you well. x”
