Tom Edden and Giles Terera join the previously announced Lenny Henry
The full cast for the Donmar's production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui has been announced.
Michael Pennington, who has previously appeared at the Donmar in The Cosmonau'ts Last Message to the Woman He Loved will join the previously announced Lenny Henry, who takes on the title character.
The story is a satire of Hitler's rise to power, and follows gangster Ui in '30s Chicago. The play was written by Brecht and has been translated by Bruce Norris. It marks Henry's Donmar debut.
The cast also includes Tom Edden (One Man, Two Guvnors), and Giles Terera, who will play Aaron Burr in the West End transfer of Hamilton later this year.
Simon Evans will direct the cast, which also includes Philip Cumbus, Lucy Eaton, Lucy Ellinson, Simon Holland Roberts, Louis Martin, Justine Mitchell, Gloria Obianyo and Guy Rhys.
The production will be designed by Peter McKintosh with lighting by Howard Harrison, sound and compositions by Ed Lewis and movement by Stephen Mear.
The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui runs at the Donmar Warehouse from 2 May to 17 June, with previews from 21 April.
