Full cast joining Jayde Adams in Treasure Island announced

It marks her professional stage debut

Exclusive: The complete company for Treasure Island: A New Musical Adventure has been revealed.

Created by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary, the team behind The Great British Bake Off Musical and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ The Musical, the new musical is a version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s tale.

It will be directed by Paul Foster, whose previous work includes The Cabinet Minister at Menier Chocolate Factory and White Christmas at Sheffield Crucible.

As previously revealed, Jayde Adams, who grew up in Bristol and first took part in Bristol Old Vic Young Company, will play Benita Gunn and Jim Hawkins’ mother.

Joining her at Bristol Old Vic this Christmas will be a company of multi-instrumentalist actors.

They include Adryne Caulder-James as Jim Hawkins, while comedian and actor Colin Leggo will play Long John Silver.

Morgan Val Baker will portray Squire Trelawney/Black Dog, with Lloyd Gorman as Captain Smollett/Jim’s Father and Jack Heydon as O’Brien/Billey Bones, while Philippa Hogg will play Hands, and Sioned Saunders will play Dr Livesey.

Completing the creative team are designer Tom Rogers, lighting designer Jai Majaria, sound designer George Dennis, musical director Matthew Spalding, musical supervisor and orchestrator Sarah Travis, choreographer Chi-San Howard, associate director Lisa Gregan, fight director Kate Waters, dialect and voice coach Aundrea Fudge and casting director Annelie Powell.

Treasure Island: A New Musical Adventure runs at Bristol Old Vic from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, with press night on 10 December.
