The second week of Fringe First winners has been announced by The Scotsman.

Recognising new work premiering at the Fringe, the awards are announced every Friday throughout the festival, and overseen by a judging panel composed of Joyce McMillan, Mark Fisher, Susan Mansfield, Jackie McGlone, Sally Stott, David Pollock and Fiona Shepherd.

This week's winners are from venues across the Fringe. Jennifer Kidwell and Scott R Sheppard's Underground Railroad Game, Martin Zimmerman's On The Exhale and Mark Thomas' new show Check Up: Our NHS at 70, which all run at the Traverse bagged awards.

Duped at Sweet Grassmarket, ThisEgg's dressed. at Underbelly (which won the Untapped Award earlier this year and was nominated for a Total Theatre Award), My Left/Right Foot at Assembly (created by Birds of Paradise and National Theatre Scotland) and Kieran Hurley and Gary McNair's Square Go at Summerhall were the four other winners.

A final round of award recipients will be announced next Friday.
