Images have been released of the cast rehearsing for the Open Air Theatre's upcoming production of Running Wild.

The show is an adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's novel and a co-production with Chichester Festival Theatre. Running Wild follows Will who is riding the elephant Oona in Indonesia when a tsunami hits and his elephant bolts. Will must find his way back home through the jungle.

Artistic director of the theatre Timothy Sheader co-directs with Dale Rooks. The piece will feature several large scale puppets and an ensemble of 57 young performers from the local community aged between 9 and 19.

Running Wild runs at the Open Air Theatre from 19 May to 12 June.
