First look at the National's People, Places and Things

Production images have been released from People, Place and Things which opens at the National Theatre next week.

Denise Gough plays Emma in Duncan Macmillan's new play, directed by Jeremy Herrin. Gough is joined by Barbara Marten, Kevin McMonagle and Nathaniel Martello-White. Also in the cast are Jacob James Beswick, Alastair Cope and Jacqui Dubois.

The production is the latest collaboration between Headlong and the National, following the acclaimed Earthquakes in London and The Effect.

People, Place and Things is described as "a mesmeric trip into the tangled world of addiction, treatment and self-awareness" and runs at the Dorfman until 2 November.
