The show has its opening night this week
Production images have been released for the musical Big Fish, ahead of the show's opening at The Other Palace in London.
The musical stars Kelsey Grammer as the central character Edward Bloom, who reflects on his life and times as a seafarer. The show is Grammer's first appearance on a London stage.
Directed by actor and director Nigel Harman, the musical is an adaptation of Daniel Wallace's best selling 1998 novel, which was turned into an Oscar-nominated film in 2003. There are music and lyrics by John August and Andrew Lippa.
Grammer is best-known for playing Dr Frasier Crane in the award-winning sitcoms Cheers and Frasier. In 2010 Grammer made his Broadway musical debut playing the lead role of Georges in La Cage Aux Folles, for which he won a Tony Award nomination.
Clare Burt will play Bloom's wife Sandra, and the remainder of the cast is composed of Matt Seadon-Young, Frances McNamee, Forbes Masson, Jamie Muscato, Laura Baldwin, Landi Oshinowo, Dean Nolan, and George Ure, Sophie Linder-Lee, Gemma McMeel and Jonathan Stewart.
Big Fish runs from 7 November to 31 December at The Other Palace.
