The new translation of Florian Zeller’s play runs at the Menier from 14 September
Rehearsal photos have been released for The Lie at the Menier Chocolate Factory, showing James Dreyfus, Samantha Bond and Tony Gardner preparing for the English translation of Florian Zeller's new play.
Marking the second collaboration between the Southwark venue and the French writer and translator Christopher Hampton after the 2016 adaptation of The Truth. The Lie sees infidelity, marital woe and deception played out between two couples.
The cast, composed of Bond, Dreyfus, Gardner and Alexandra Gilbreath, will be directed by Lindsay Posner, who also led The Truth.

The Lie runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 27 September to 18 November, with previews from 14 September.
