First look at Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Production images have been released of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ahead of opening night at the West Yorkshire Playhouse next week.

The cast includes Jon Robyns as Caractacus Potts, Stephen Matthews as The Childcatcher and Amy Griffiths as Truly Scrumptious.

James Brining's production is based on the 1968 film starring Dick Van Dyke and has music and lyrics by Richard M Sherman and Robert B Sherman, who were also responsible for Mary Poppins and The Aristocats.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang runs at West Yorkshire Playhouse until 30 January after which it embarks on a UK tour.
