The show opens early next year

Finborough Theatre will host the world premiere of 1.17am, or until the words run out, a new play by Zoe Hunter Gordon.
The play centres on Katie and Roni, former best friends brought together again in the bedroom of Katie’s late brother. Over the course of one night, they confront truths long avoided. Developed with support from HighTide, the piece follows sold-out previews at Theatre503.
The cast features Catherine Ashdown as Katie and Eileen Duffy as Roni. The production is directed by Sarah Stacey, with set design by Mim Houghton, sound design by Sarah Spencer, costume design by Anouk Mondini, and dramaturgy by Stacey. It is presented by ZAVA Productions in association with Neil McPherson for Finborough Theatre.
Hunter Gordon’s previous work includes Cecilia, shortlisted for the Yale Drama Prize, and Gap in the Light, nominated for three OffWestEnd Awards. Her screen credits include Better for BFI Network and Our Fathers for BBC Scotland.
It will run from Tuesday 10 February to Saturday 7 March 2026.
