Final casting has been announced for the world premiere of Stephen Clark's Le Grand Mort, which opens at the Trafalgar Studios in September.

Little Boy Blue star James Nelson-Joyce will join the previously announced Julian Clary in the black comedy about a man (Clary) and his young guest (Nelson-Joyce) as they engage in a series of mind games in a stylish kitchen in Notting Hill.

Before he passed away in October last year, four-time Olivier Award-nominated Clark (Martin Guerre, Love Story) wrote the piece specially for Clary.

Nelson-Joyce's other screen credits include Cilla, Mount Pleasant and Shameless.

Produced by Danielle Tarento, Le Grand Mort will be directed by Christopher Renshaw, with design by Justin Nardella, lighting by Jamie Platt and sound by Edward Lewis.

Le Grand Mort runs at Trafalgar Studios from 25 September to 28 October, with previews from 20 September.
