The Royal Shakespeare Company have given WhatsOnStage exclusive access to the brand new trailer of Christopher Luscombe's upcoming Twelfth Night.

The trailer features Adrian Edmondson as Malvolio getting ready to wear his yellow cross-gartered stockings to impress Olivia.

Kara Tointon, who plays Olivia, appears at the end of the film looking distinctly non-plussed.

Shakespeare's comedy follows twins Viola and Sebastian who get separated in a shipwreck, and Viola is forced to pretend she is a man in the strange land they end up in. What follows is love-mix-up where Olivia falls for Viola but Viola is in love with Orsino.

Twelfth Night runs at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from November 2 to 24 February 2018.
