Evita with Rachel Zegler confirms cast album release date

Evita has finally announced when it will be releasing its new cast recording!

Rachel Zegler starred in the critically lauded Jamie Lloyd-directed revival of the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which played across the summer at The London Palladium. 

Telling the tale of the rise and fall of the iconic Argentinian figure, the classic 1978 musical includes numbers such as “Buenos Aires”, “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”, “Oh What a Circus” and “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina”.

She was joined by Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che, and James Olivas as Juan Perón, with Aaron Lee Lambert as Agustín Magaldi and Bella Brown as The Mistress / Alternate Eva.

A new album, featuring ten tracks and recorded live at the Palladium, is set to include: “Oh What A Circus”, “Buenos Aires”, “I’d be Surprisingly Good for You”, “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”, “A New Argentina”, “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, “High Flying Adored”, “Rainbow High”, “And The Money Kept Rollin In (And Out)” and “You Must Love Me.”

The album will be available digitally from 24 October. Physical release dates are to be confirmed.

Zegler’s performances of “Rainbow High” and “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, alongside a “Miami” remix, are all available to listen to on digital channels.
