Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae's new musical, Everybody's Talking About Jamie has extended its West End run until 6 October 2018.

Directed by Jonathan Butterell, the musical premiered at the Sheffield Crucible in February 2017 before transferring to the West End in November.

With a cast including John McCrea, Lucie Shorthouse and Josie Walker, the show tells the true story of County Durham teenager Jamie who decides he wants to be a drag queen. Gillespie Sells, the lead singer of The Feeling, has written the music for the piece, which won the UK Theatre Award for Best New Musical.

Daisy Bowie-Sell called the production 'exuberant, exhilarating, exciting and enchanting' in her five-star review of the show for WhatsOnStage.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is now booking at the Apollo Theatre until 6 October 2018.
