We chat to the Olivier Award-winning choreographer about Jekyll and Hyde at the Old Vic
We popped into a rehearsal for Jekyll & Hyde – playing at the Old Vic this week – to find out more about the new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel.
Watch our video to find out what director/choreographer Drew McOnie – along with Daniel Collins (Jekyll), Rachel Muldoon (Dahlia) and Tim Hodges (Hyde) – had to say about the piece.
Devised, directed and choreographed by McOnie, the production features original music by Grant Olding.
The cast also includes Ashley Andrews, Joao Carolino, Carrie Taylor Johnson, Anabel Kutay, Ebony Molina, Fraya Rowley, Alexzandra Sarmiento, Barnaby Thompson and Jason Winter.
McOnie's recent credits include Oklahoma! (UK tour), Bugsy Malone (Lyric Hammersmith) and In the Heights (Southwark Playhouse & King's Cross Theatre) – for which he won the Olivier Award for Best Theatre Choreographer.
Jekyll & Hyde runs at the Old Vic until 28 May.
