Dreaming of a Barry White Christmas will be staged at EchoTwo @ Echo Arena, and is the only festive-themed show to hit Liverpool stages this December.

Dubbed as a “Scouse Scrooge”, the play has been directed by renowned playwright Dave Kirby, and stars prestigious home grown talent including Andrew Schofield, Alan Stocks, Paul Duckworth, Lenny Wood, Gillian Hardie and Keddy Sutton.

It is crammed full of classic Barry White tunes, and follows the life of warehouse owner Thomas Minge – a man who despises everything. When his employees find out they are about to get the sack, they set out on a hilarious mission to ensure their survival. Will the Walrus of Love himself, Barry White, hold the key?

Kirby said: “I’ve had great fun writing this show and I hope the audience will have just as much of a laugh watching it!”

Dreaming of a Barry White Christmas will run from 17-21 December.
