The show opens this Christmas in central London

The Donmar Warehouse has released rehearsal photos for When We Are Married, directed by artistic director Tim Sheader.
J B Priestley’s comedy follows three couples from Yorkshire celebrating their joint silver wedding anniversaries, only for the occasion to unravel after an unexpected revelation disrupts the evening.
Starring are Siobhan Finneran as Maria Helliwell, Samantha Spiro as Clara Soppitt, Sophie Thompson as Annie Parker, Marc Wootton as Albert Parker, Tori Allen-Martin as Lottie Grady, Ron Cook as Henry Ormonroyd, Janice Connolly as Mrs Northrop, John Hodgkinson as Joseph Helliwell, Jim Howick as Herbert Soppitt, Reuben Joseph as Gerald Forbes, Rowan Robinson as Nancy Holmes and Leo Wringer as Reverend Clement Mercer.
The creative team includes set designer Peter McKintosh, costume designer Anna Fleischle, lighting designer Ryan Day, sound designer Fergus O’Hare and composer Will Stuart. Voice and dialect work is by Barbara Houseman and Natalie Grady, with casting by Lotte Hines.
The play runs at the Donmar Warehouse from 6 December 2025 to 7 February 2026, with press night on 17 December.
