The Donmar Warehouse has announced its 2025/26 season.

The season begins with the world premiere of Juniper Blood by Mike Bartlett, which runs from 16 August to 4 October with press night on 26 August. Directed by James Macdonald, the production has designs by Ultz with associate set design by Mark Simmonds, lighting by Jo Joelson and sound by Helen Skiera.

Terique Jarrett, Hattie Morahan, Nadia Parkes, Jonathan Slinger and Sam Troughton lead the cast in a story about a couple who abandon city life for an idealistic existence on a rural farm, only for unexpected visitors to test their dreams and resolve.

Next is The Maids, presented in a new translation written and directed by Kip Williams, which runs from 13 October to 29 November with press night on 21 October. The creative team includes set designer Rosanna Vize, costume designer Marg Horwell, video designer Ian William Galloway and lighting designer Jon Clark.

Following his award-winning version of The Picture of Dorian Gray, Williams turns to Genet’s play about two maids who lose themselves in an obsessive fantasy while their mistress is away.

The season concludes with artistic director Tim Sheader’s production of When We Are Married by J B Priestley, running from 6 December 2025 to 7 February 2026. Peter McKintosh designs the set with costumes by Anna Fleischle and lighting by Ryan Day.

Siobhan Finneran, Samantha Spiro, Sophie Thompson and Marc Wootton appear in a story following three couples whose silver wedding celebrations are thrown into disarray when they learn their marriages may never have been legal, unearthing frustrations, old secrets and unexpected freedom.

The Donmar will continue its £20 ticket scheme for audiences aged 35 and under and will extend its Donmar LOCAL programme, working with thousands of young people in Camden and Westminster. Priority booking for Donmar supporters opens on 10 July, with public booking from 18 July.
