The ”Harry Potter” star will open at the theatre next year
Daniel Radcliffe is to return to the London stage next year in a production at the Old Vic.
The Harry Potter actor will star in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead alongside Joshua McGuire, which will be directed by David Leveaux.

The 1966 play is by Tom Stoppard and focuses in on two characters from Shakespeare's Hamlet. This will be its 50th anniversary production. General booking opens 2 November.
Also newly announced is Conor McPherson's play Girl From the North Country which will also be directed by McPherson and open in July 2017. The piece follows Woyzeck, which stars John Boyega and runs in May.Girl From the North Country will feature songs by Bob Dylan and is set in Duluth in Minnesota during the Great Depression in a guesthouse.
Artistic director Matthew Warchus also brings back the popular show The Lorax to the theatre in October next year. David Greig's adaptation of Dr Seuss' story originally ran in 2015.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead opens on 7 March 2017 with previews from 25 February.
