Casting for Matthew Perry's debut play The End of Longing has been announced.

Joining Friends star Perry onstage will be Christina Cole as Stevie, Jennifer Mudge as Stephanie and Lloyd Owen as Joseph.

Cole was recently seen in the National's production The Magistrate and The Lightening Play at the Almeida whilst Mudge makes her West End debut after being nominated for a Lortel Award for her performance in the off-Broadway production of Into the Woods. Owen's stage credits include Good People at Hampstead Theatre and the Noel Coward Theatre and Stuff Happens at the National Theatre.

Directed by Speed the Plow director Lindsay Posner, the play features four characters each searching for meaning as they enter their forties and will be designed by the 2015 Evening Standard award-winner, Anna Fleischle (Hangmen), with lighting by Lucy Carter.

The End of Longing runs at the Playhouse Theatre from 2 February to 14 May 2016.
