The musical returns to London 25 years after it premiered in the West End
Full casting has been announced for the revival of Children of Eden, which opens at the Union Theatre next month.
Natasha O'Brien (A Christmas Carol) will star as Eve/Mama alongside Stephen Barry (The Beautiful Game) as Adam/Noah.
They are joined by Joey Dexter as Father, Samantha Giffard as Aysha, Guy Woolf as Cain/Japeth, Nikita Johal as Yonah, Susie Chaytow as Aphra, Daniel Miles as Abel/Ham, Kris Marc-Joseph as Seth/Shem, Verity Burgess as Storyteller and Gabriel Mokake as Snake.
Christian Durham (Taboo, UK Tour) will direct, with choreography by Lucie Pankhurst (The Stripper, St James) and design by Kingsley Hall (The Baker's Wife, Union).
Inspired by the Book of Genesis, Children of Eden explores what it means to be a parent. It has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by John Caird.
Best known for the smash hit musical Wicked, Schwartz's other work includes Pippin and Godspell. Caird is best known for working with Trevor Nunn and the RSC to adapt and direct Les Misérables.
Children of Eden will run at the Union Theatre from 12 August to 10 September.
