Casting has been announced for Ivan Menchell, Don Black and Frank Wildhorn's musical Bonnie & Clyde, which receives a work in progress production at The Other Palace later this month.

Jamie Muscato (Bend It Like Beckham) will play Clyde alongside Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie) as Bonnie. They will be joined by Olivier Award-winner Rebecca Trehearn (Show Boat), Ako Mitchell (Ragtime) and Amy Booth-Steel (A Pacifist's Guide to the War on Cancer).

Completing the cast is Sam Ferriday, Joshua Dever, Nicholas Colicos, Rebecca Lock, Graham Bickley, Stanley Jarvis and Lucy Simmonds.

The production will be directed by Will Blum with musical direction from Bob Broad, and casting by Will Burton.

The Work in Progress series aims to present work at varying stages of development, and offers audiences the opportunity to see the work at a fraction of a cost of a regular show – tickets start at £7.50. Bonnie and Clyde follows productions of Heathers, Joybubbles and Dr Feelgood.

Talking recently about the new initiative the venue's owner Andrew Lloyd Webber said: "I want The Other Palace to become the London space where writers and producers can try out and perfect new work, offering audiences the opportunity to see musicals in development."

Bonnie & Clyde runs at The Other Palace from 26 June to 1 July, tickets are available from £15.
