Casting announced for A Spoonful of Sherman at Live at Zedel

The show celebrates songwriting from three generations of the Sherman family

Casting has been announced for A Spoonful of Sherman, which will play at Live at Zedel in August.

Helena Blackman (Titanic) and Daniel Boys (The Boys in the Band) will star alongside Robert J Sherman (Bumblescratch) in the production which celebrates a century of songwriting from three generations of Shermans.

The show features songs from Robert B Sherman and Richard M Sherman including "Chim Chim Cher-ee", "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and "Feed the Birds", Robert J Sherman's Love Birds and Bumblescratch and his grandfather's Tin Pan Alley.

The show most recently ran at the St James Theatre (now The Other Palace) in 2014 starring Emma Williams and Charlotte Wakefield.

A Spoonful of Sherman runs at Live at Zedel from 7 to 20 August.
