Casting and creative team for the new revival of Philip Ridley’s The Pitchfork Disney has been revealed.

Ridley’s first professional play, The Pitchfork Disney premiered at the Bush Theatre in 1991 and is known for its role in the In-Yer-Face theatre movement. The story follows siblings Presley and Haley, who live alone in their dead parents’ house until an unexpected visitor, Cosmo, disrupts their fragile existence.

Lidless Theatre’s co-artistic director Max Harrison directs the show, which was last seen in London in 2017, in a production directed by Jamie Lloyd at Shoreditch Town Hall.

Set to star in this new staging will be Elizabeth Connick as Haley, Ned Costello as Presley and William Robinson as Cosmo – with one additional cast member to be revealed soon. The production runs at King’s Head Theatre from 27 August to 4 October 2025, with press night on 2 September.

The creative team includes Kit Hinchcliffe as designer, Ben Jacobs as lighting designer, Sam Glossop as sound designer, James Quaife as general manager and Carrie Croft as production manager.
