Philip Ridley’s acclaimed play Leaves of Glass, is set for its first major revival in 16 years and casting has been confirmed.
The four-hander, which premiered at Soho Theatre in 2007 to critical acclaim, will return to the stage with a new production by longtime collaborators Lidless Theatre.
The play will star Geraldine Alexander (Bridgerton), Katie Buchholz (The Seagull), Ned Costello (The Clothes They Stood Up In), and Joseph Potter (Poltergeist). It will be directed by Max Harrison.
Set in East London in 2023, Leaves of Glass follows a man, Steven (Potter), who is suddenly accused of a variety of misdeeds.
Running at the Park Theatre from 11 May to 3 June, the show will then tour to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford (15 to 17 June) and Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre (10 to 16 July).
It has set and costume design by Kit Hinchcliff, sound design by Sam Glossop and casting by Nadine Rennie.
