Luke Norris’ play is not an adaptation of the children’s picture book

The Royal Court has confirmed casting and the creative team for Guess How Much I Love You?, the first production in the venue’s 70th anniversary season.
The play, written by Luke Norris and directed by Jeremy Herrin, centres on a couple who are expecting a child and preparing for their 20-week scan as they reassess the future they imagined for themselves.
Robert Aramayo, Rosie Sheehy and Lena Kaur lead the company, joined by child performers Max Crisp and Maxwell Oakes.
The production is presented in association with Brian and Dayna Lee. The design team includes Grace Smart, with lighting by Jessica Hung Han Yun, sound and composition by Nick Powell, and casting by Jessica Ronane. Clare Foster serves as intimacy coordinator, Charlotte Vickers is assistant director and the Artist Wellbeing Company provides support.
Guess How Much I Love You? runs in the Royal Court’s Jerwood Downstairs space from 16 January to 21 February 2026, with a press performance on 22 January.
