Gyre and Gimble's work is becoming synonymous with cutting-edge puppetry – after meeting while puppeteering on War Horse, the company's co-directors Finn Caldwell and Toby Olié have gone on to oversee work including The Hartlepool Monkey on tour, The Elephantom in the West End and the puppets in The Grinning Man.

But now they turn their attention to Vivaldi, or more specifically, a new puppeteered show based on Vivaldi's legendary Four Seasons. Running at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare's Globe, the piece combines live music with puppeteering and storytelling, all within the wood-panelled, candle-lit Jacobean venue.

Vivaldi's Four Seasons, A Reimagining runs at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse from 13 March to 21 April.
