Brian Cox to embark on first-ever one-man show

Multi award-winning actor Brian Cox is set for his first ever one-man show, with 18 dates confirmed for this autumn.

Entitled It’s All About Me!, Cox will tell stories from his life and career “from the backstreets of Dundee to the glittering lights of Hollywood” in act one, while act two will see producer Clive Tulloh join him for an onstage Q&A with the audience.

Cox commented: “I am looking forward to this tour as it marks something a little different for me – sharing the stage with myself. As the title indicates, the show will focus more than ever on my life and career. In the second half, the tables are turned and the audience will have the chance to put their questions to me. It should be a lot of fun.”

The tour kicks off at Northampton’s Royal and Derngate Theatre on 1 October, before heading to Bristol, Ipswich, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, Dundee, Brighton, Nottingham, Oxford, Plymouth, Southend, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester, York, and culminating in London’s West End at the Adelphi Theatre on 4 November.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on 25 June, with the Dublin date on sale from 1 July.
