Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers
arrives at The Lowry for the first time, following the successful UK tour. Few musicals
have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award-winning Blood Brothers, and Bill Kenwright’s production, having recently celebrated its 21st phenomenal year in London, continues to enjoy standing ovations at every devastating performance.

The show opens in Liverpool next month featuring former Spice Girl, Melanie Chisolm. Casting for the Lowry dates have yet to be announced.

Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of
twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks,
only to meet again with tragic consequences. Accompanied by a superb
score prepare your hankies as you sing along with showstoppers such as Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True.

Blood Brothers runs at the Lowry from 21 – 26 February.
