Bill Bailey has been announced as the host of the 2025 Sky Arts Awards, which will be held at the Roundhouse in London on Tuesday 16 September.

The ceremony, now in its second year, recognises achievements across visual art, music, film, theatre, literature and other creative fields.

Bailey said: “I’m delighted to be hosting this year’s Sky Arts Awards, a brilliant way to celebrate creativity in all its forms.”

Phil Edgar-Jones OBE, executive director of unscripted originals at Sky, added: “The Sky Arts Awards has become a key moment in the year to celebrate all the brilliant creativity the UK is rightly famous for. As it’s the only awards to celebrate all the arts genres, who better to host this year’s ceremony than the ultimate arts polymath, Bill Bailey.”

The event is commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones for Cécile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios and chief content officer for Sky, with Leanne Cosby as commissioning editor and Vanessa Woodard as project manager.

It will be produced by DRUM Studios, part of Omnicom Media Group, with Andy Holland and Danny Carvalho as executive producers, Sarah Fink as head of production, Mark Thorne as showrunner and Julia Knowles as director.

The awards will be broadcast the same evening on Sky Arts and Freeview.
