Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opened at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on May 26 2013 and yesterday celebrated it's first year at the venue with a special gala performance.

The show, adapted from Roald Dahl's classic children's story, currently stars Alex Jennings in the role of Willy Wonka.
