We said its name slightly more than three times – and now it’s arrived!

The West End will finally get a taste of Beetlejuice.
Based on Tim Burton’s macabre 1988 film, Beetlejuice is about a young woman who summons a mischievous ghost after meeting the recently deceased couple who previously inhabited her big, creepy house. Beetlejuice earned several Tony nominations, including Best Musical.
The show will open at the Prince Edward Theatre, following the closure of MJ. Its limited London season will come on the heels of a third Broadway spell, which commences in October.
Beetlejuice is directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with an original score by Tony Award nominee Eddie Perfect, a book by Tony Award nominee Scott Brown and Tony nominee Anthony King, music supervision, orchestrations, and incidental music by Kris Kukul, and choreography by Connor Gallagher.
It features scenic design by three-time Tony Award nominee David Korins, costume design by six-time Tony Award winner William Ivey Long, lighting design by Tony Award winner Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Award winner Peter Hylenski, projection design by Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Peter Nigrini, puppet design by Drama Desk Award winner Michael Curry, special effects design by Jeremy Chernick, illusions by Michael Weber, hair and wig design by Drama Desk Award nominee Charles G LaPointe, make-up design by Joe Dulude II, and physical movement coordinator Lorenzo Pisoni.
Producer James Lane, from Crossroads Live, said: “The wait is over! We are beyond thrilled to be working alongside Warner Bros and the ingenious team behind Beetlejuice to bring this highly anticipated Broadway hit to London’s West End at last. There is nothing else quite like this show, and audiences really are in for a terrifyingly hilarious treat at the spectacular Prince Edward Theatre next year.”
Mark Kaufman (Warner Bros Theatre Ventures) and Kevin McCormick (Langley Park Productions) added: “After three successful Broadway engagements, a record-setting 88-city North American tour, and captivating audiences across international stages in Tokyo, Seoul, Abu Dhabi, and Melbourne, Beetlejuice will finally arrive in the United Kingdom.
“We are thrilled Beetlejuice will soon make its debut in London’s West End with its signature wit and irreverence.”
Performances in the West End will begin in May 2026, with tickets on general sale from 30 October 2025.
Casting for the show will be announced at a later date.
The musical is produced in the UK by Crossroads Live and Warner Bros Theatre Ventures.
