Two huge titles join the line-up!

Exclusive: The Barn Theatre in Cirencester has revealed its full Built by Barn season for 2026.
As already revealed, the year will see productions of Men Behaving Badly, Honk!, Double Double and Yes, Prime Minister. You can find details about those shows below.
Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux’s hit musical Million Dollar Quartet will return this summer. Directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, the show was first staged at the Barn Theatre in 2022. Featuring the music of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley, the show is set in a 1950s recording studio and follows the four iconic music makers as their lives collide. It will play from 15 June to 22 August, with a press night set for 18 June.
In the autumn, David Seidler’s The King’s Speech will be revived. The play offers a close look at the relationship between Bertie, the future King George VI, and speech therapist Lionel Logue, set against the backdrop of a Europe on the brink of war. As Bertie grapples with his speech impediment, the play explores the personal struggles of a man preparing to lead his nation in its hour of need. It will play at the Barn Theatre from 9 October to 7 November with a press night on 13 October.
The full cast and creative teams for both shows will be announced in the coming months.
Barn Theatre CEO and artistic director Iwan Lewis said: “To complete our 2026 season, we’re thrilled to be welcoming back Million Dollar Quartet in a bold, brand-new production that’s bigger, louder and more electrifying than ever. It was a huge hit with our audiences last time, and bringing fresh life to one of the most legendary jam sessions in rock and roll history for a ten-week summer run at the Barn felt irresistible.
“Alongside that, we’re incredibly proud to announce a major new revival of The King’s Speech, based on the Oscar-winning story made famous by Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. Together, these two productions complete a season that celebrates unforgettable live experiences, and we can’t wait to welcome audiences to the full spectrum of work on offer at the Barn in 2026.”
Tickets for Million Dollar Quartet and The King’s Speech will be available to members on 4 March, before a general sale on 6 March. Members are able to purchase tickets for all six shows in the season at the price of five.
