Jenna Russell, Pixie Lott and Matt Henry are all confirmed to perform at this year’s concert
Performers for the 16th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards Concert have been announced.
Taking place at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 21 February, the ceremony will open with hosts Mel Giedroyc and Steve Furst performing an original song, "The Greatest Show of All".
Elsewhere in the line up, Grey Gardens star Jenna Russell will perform a song from the sell-out Southwark musical, which also stars Sheila Hancock. The Olivier Award-winning Russell has starred in musicals including Merrily We Roll Along, Urinetown and Sunday in the Park with George.
Audiences will also get a chance to see Alison Jiear (Xanadu, Britain's Got Talent), Amelia Lily (American Idiot, The X Factor) and Alexis Gerred (American Idiot) all performing together.
Following this, Pixie Lott will sing an acoustic version of "Moon River" accompanying herself on the guitar. Lott is about to open on a tour of Breakfast at Tiffany's which arrives in the West End in June.
Then there will be a special performance from Emma Williams and Tracie Bennett who are starring in Mrs Henderson Presents and the evening will close with Matt Henry, who is currently playing drag queen Lola in Kinky Boots, who will sing "Hold Me In Your Heart".
The concert will be directed by Russell Labey with musical supervision by Alex Parker, choreography by Nick Winston, lighting design by Derek Anderson, sound design by Dan Samson and production management by Chris Fisher. The concert is produced by Stuart Piper and Jason Haigh-Ellery with general management by Cole Kitchenn.
The WhatsOnStage Awards are the only major theatre awards in which the audience are judges.
