It will run at Nottingham Playhouse

Nottingham Playhouse has revealed the cast for the world premiere of The Market Deeping Model Railway Club.
Based on a true story, the play follows a model railway club, which, after an attack of vandalism, rallies for a chance at victory at the annual show, gaining supporters including Rod Stewart! It is written by William Ivory.
Set to star in the comedy drama are Babatunde Aléshé as Jordan, Matt Bardock as Chris, Geoffrey Beevers as George, Paul Bradley as Jerry, James Bradshaw as Neil, Adrian Scarborough as Chairman Graham and Deka Walmsley as Ken. Further casting is to be announced.
Adam Penford will direct, alongside designer Soutra Gilmour of SG Scenography, lighting designer Howard Hudson, sound designer and composer Alexandra Faye Braithwaite, voice coach Kay Welch and casting director Ginny Schiller.
Penford commented: “We’re thrilled to have assembled a fantastic cast and powerhouse creative team for the world premiere of Billy’s new play. It’s such a warm-hearted, funny but poignant script, with a whimsical British eccentricity running through it, we can’t wait to start rehearsals.”
